Principal and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. DeRose is a Co-Founder and Principal of ServiceStar Capital Management. As a venture capitalist and real estate developer, Mark has led the charge on real estate developments valued at nearly $1 billion. From his start overseeing single-tenant build-to-suit projects to an international developer of multi-faceted real estate projects, Mark successfully navigates the structure of investment opportunities that are sustainable in their communities. In large part, the success of ServiceStar can be attributed to Mark’s hands-on management style and close working relationship with the company’s streamlined leadership team. Mark continues to earn the trust and respect of investors and partners through his straightforward manner and flexible approach to problem solving.

Mark received a BS in Communications from the University of Southern Colorado.

Principal and Chief Development Officer

Mr. Stilwell is a Co-Founder and Principal of ServiceStar Capital Management.  In addition to capital formation, investments and portfolio management activities, Jim directly oversees the Company’s asset management for a collection of properties in Colorado, Texas, and Florida.

Jim previously served as the Chief Operating Officer for ServiceStar Development Company and was primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Company and its personnel, as well as overseeing the Company’s multiple development projects throughout the United States.  ServiceStar Development was a full-service commercial real estate development firm whose expertise included acquisition, entitlement, site planning and design, construction management, and property disposition.

Jim started his career with Shell Oil Company where he supported Shell’s retail dealer network with specific focus on dealer relations, sales, marketing and profit enhancement. Jim is a U.S. Navy Veteran and holds a B.S. from the University of Alabama.  He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has served as ICSC State Director and Western Division Co-Chair.

Jim serves on the board of two Metropolitan Districts in Colorado and is active in a variety of community and charitable organizations.

Principal and Chief Investment Officer

Mr.  Jagger is a Co-Founder and Principal of ServiceStar Capital Management. John is responsible for developing and evaluating investment opportunities, providing strategic management support, and monitoring investments. He has overseen the acquisition, development, redevelopment, financing, operating and sale of investments in real properties and operating entities having combined value of approximately $1 billion. John is a former Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Southern Colorado, in addition to an M.S. in Taxation from the University of Denver. He is currently a Board member of four Colorado Metropolitan Districts.

Vice President, Investments

Mr. Brown serves as Vice President of Investments at ServiceStar Capital Management, where he plays a key role in sourcing and executing acquisitions, leading development initiatives, and driving operational performance across the firm’s hospitality and commercial real estate platform. With experience spanning over $400 million in transactions, Keaton brings a combination of analytical depth and execution focus to every deal, from initial underwriting through capital structuring and closing, while providing strategic oversight throughout the investment lifecycle.

Prior to joining ServiceStar, Keaton honed his strategic and analytical skill set at Point B, a management consulting firm, where he advised private equity-backed companies on value creation and operational improvement.

Keaton holds a BS in Business Administration from Colorado State University - Pueblo and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Finance Manager

Ms. Dixon serves as a Finance Manager at ServiceStar Capital Management, where she leads financial reporting, accounting strategy, and investor relations across the firm’s portfolio. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Colorado State University and plays a key role in supporting the firm’s financial operations and investor communications.

Asset Manager

Mr. McInnis serves as an Asset Manager at ServiceStar Capital Management, where he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s retail portfolio and leading the execution of asset-level strategies and initiatives. He is a graduate of the University of Denver and is an active member of the community, serving on the board of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Mr. Stumpe serves as Accounting and HR Manager at ServiceStar Capital Management, where he oversees the firm’s accounting operations and human resources functions, ensuring efficient financial management and organizational support.
